Meet Dr. Gordon Davidson
Thank you for visiting our website. I am very proud of our team at Fairview Dental and I invite you to visit our office. I have been practicing for over 30 years and I feel fortunate to have chosen a career that has never gotten old. It is my goal to provide comprehensive care for our patients. Good oral health has a tremendous effect on a person’s well-being. I am passionate about improving a patient’s smile, cosmetic dentistry, restoring lost or broken teeth, treating gum disease, and improving aesthetics and function with braces or Invisalign®.
It is my honor to continue the philosophy of providing excellent patient care that Dr. Art Tupper started in 1973. Good communication is vital, and we make sure patients are well informed and comfortable with our treatment. I love that everyone entrusts us to help them achieve optimal oral health. We develop a great relationship, and I often feel like I am seeing my friends for whom we are also providing dental care. We can truly make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Since completing my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 1989, I have continued to update my education in E4D™ same-day crowns and restorations, orthodontics, oral medicine and pathology, periodontics, and soft-tissue management. Much of my profressional training is completed through the Ontario Dental Association, Burlington Dental Academy, and Ontario Dental Association spring convention.
I recognize that a successful patient outcome requires more than just the latest techniques and advanced dental technology. Success depends on responsive care, clear communication, and above all, a genuine interest in each patient’s well-being.
I grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and have lived in Ancaster for more than 20 years. My wife Margie and I have four children: Emily, Elizabeth, Allie, and James. We also have a Golden Retriever named Sam and a cat named Harley Davidson. We have recently welcomed two new members to the family our granddaughter Emilia and grandson William.
When I’m not working, I spend quality time with my family and friends, play tennis, or go mountain biking on the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. I also enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing, and kayaking on Georgian Bay.
