Meet Dr. Mark Munzar
I’m very proud of the whole team here at Fairview Dental. It’s a pleasure to come to the office every day and work with such a dedicated group of professionals, where everyone is striving to do their best for our patients’ health and comfort.
For my dental education, I attained my B.Sc. in honours chemistry from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec. In 2004, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from McGill University in Montreal.
The advances made in dentistry are very exciting. I have always loved being a student, so it is a pleasure for me to attend lectures and multi-day courses that cover all aspects of dental health on a regular basis.
I love the difference dentistry can make in someone’s life. I find it very satisfying to help someone who has been in pain and make them comfortable, or serve someone who was embarrassed about their smile and make them feel confident.
I am originally from Port Dover, and have lived in Ancaster since 2004. My wife and I are proud parents of a wonderful, adventurous, and playful little girl. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, mountain biking, and running, but nothing gives me more pleasure than getting out for a hike and introducing my daughter to all the amazing things nature has to offer!
I am also a member of many natural preservation societies, including:
- Royal Botanical Gardens
- Bruce Trail Conservancy
- Lynn Valley Trail Association
- Hamilton Conservation Authority
